Rising college tuitions, overcrowding in dorms, desire to live off campus, competition for the best rental apartments, are all driving college students and their parents to consider purchasing a condo as an investment option.

Condos on 9th Street in Reno will put you right on the southern edge of campus.

Just north of the campus on Talus Way is an affordable condo community called Talus Point which has a pool and volleyball court and is just a short walk to the campus.

Past Talus Point, Just a bit further north off Virginia is the Eagles Nest, a three story condo complex with 2 pools. You can find these priced in the low 100s.

Head west past Eagles Nest and you'll find a number of townhomes on Kathleen Denise Lane. These townhomes offers garages and two master suite floorplans in some of the homes. These homes are also very attactive to the first time home buyer.

North west of the campus, there are a group of condos on Tierra Verde that make great student condos. Close to UNR, but also close to the community college and close to 395. Don't miss the complex pool!
